It has been quite long time that I haven't posted something new here. Now, I would like to share with you one of my food experiences. There is one Italian restaurant by the name of Italliannies located inside The Gardens Mall, Kuala Lumpur. If I am not mistaken, it's located on the 1st floor of the mall. I am working in Mid Valley Megamall, I have seen this restaurant's signboards and promos all the while since 20 months ago and haven't had any lust to try until I was recommended by a facebook friend.
So, on 09th of February during my off day, I went there for a lunch with a very good friend of mine by the name of Fiqqi. I tried one of their lunch value sets consists of free flow of Pepsi, a plate of carbonara fettucine, a bowl of mushroom soup and some bread. That was my first time seeing breads served with olive oil and soy sauce, which is kind of awkward, that is normal there in Italliannies but I just couldn't take that style of serving because maybe I am not used to it yet..hehe..it tasted so so salty until I decided to dip the bread into the lovely mushroom soup instead.
As been told by my facebook friend, the portion of their main courses are very big...and yes..it's true...i have to share my carbonara with Fiqqi. And talking about the restaurant, I would give a 5-star rate because it's very cosy, with classic interior design as if you are in the 50's era when you step inside, and they play such awesome classic jazz (my most favourites), which is a very good companion to any occasions regardless whether it's pal-lunch, romantic dinner, exclusive meetings, family gatherings, just name it. Italiannies will be the best choice with mouth watering choices of cuisines.
